Plain Dog
One day I ordered a hot dog. I refused condiments. Friends found that amusing. Someone gave me a guitar. Told me I could sing. Then this happened.
JUST ADDED Special Guests
Chaos Chaos
LA-based duo Chaos Chaos is made up of sisters Asy and Chloe Saavedra. Growing up, Asy and Chloe picked up instruments and songwriting at ages 8 and 10, formed the band Smoosh and by age 14 and 16, released three critically acclaimed albums, toured and performed with the likes of Pearl Jam and Death Cab for Cutie, and performed on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!
In 2013, Asy and Chloe formed Chaos Chaos. The sisters have composed music for Rick and Morty and released their debut self titled LP "a surreal dive into themes like sisterhood, estrangement and growing older" - Noisey.
The two are politically proactive and have recently teamed up with a Brooklyn prison bringing their live show to incarcerated women. “As a female musician and someone who cares deeply about equality, I feel it’s my responsibility to consider whatever voice I have. I’m not afraid to destruct walls I believe to be unjust. Music provides a platform for this but also makes us aware of both something temporary and eternal in us. Songs provide a meeting point of these two things in a way I’ve been in love with for as long as I can remember.
Over Nights
Drew Cooper is a professional guitarist who co-led the band Over Nights with Russell Efros. The duo began writing songs together at 14 years old. Joined by one of Russell’s best friends and fellow musician Gavin Ryan, Drew will be performing songs that he wrote with Russell and performed with Over Nights.
Friends of Russell's from Chaos Chaos and Nation of Language will be performing a few songs throughout the night in dedication to Russell.
